OVERNIGHT NEWBORN AND INFANT CARE

I offer professional overnight care for newborns and infants, providing attentive, responsive support throughout the night so parents can get the rest they need.

I care for each baby according to their individual needs, feeding patterns, routines, and temperament, while offering the same calm and nurturing presence I bring to my birth and postpartum work.

My approach is warm, intuitive, and grounded in an understanding of newborn development and the unique needs of each family.

WHAT DOES OVERNIGHT CARE LOOK LIKE?

I offer attentive, nurturing care throughout the night, responding to your baby's needs as they arise.  I provide support with nighttime feedings, diaper changes, soothing, settling and getting your baby back to sleep, while honoring your routines, preferences and parenting approches.

My goal is to give you the opportunity to truly rest, knowing your baby is being lovingly cared for throughout the night.  I honor the uniqueness of each baby and each family I work with, and I approach overnight care with patience, intuition, and a deep respect for the needs of both baby and parent.

My overnight care includes:

  • Responsive Overnight Care:  I am awake throughout the night to respond to your baby's needs.  This includes feedings, diaper changes, soothing, settling, and all the little things that come with caring for a newborn or infant.

  • Support with Feeding:  I support breastfeeding or bottle feeding, including expressed milk, formula or combination feeding according to your baby's needs and your preferences.

  • Sleep Support:  As a pediatric sleep specialist, I am able to offer insight and guidance into your baby's sleep patterns and development.  I use responsive, developmentally appropriate strategies to help your baby settle and return to sleep, while respecting your parenting choices and routines.

  • Bottle and Pump Care:  Throughout the night I wash, sanitize and prepare bottles and breast pump parts so everything is clean and ready for the next day.

  • Baby-related chores:  I will also take care of baby-related tidying as well as "quiet chores" such as folding laundry, etc.

  • Morning Handoff:  Before I leave, I'll share detailed notes and observations from the night, including feedings, diaper changes, sleep stretches, wake-ups, and anything else I noticed that may be helpful for you to know as you start your day.

WHO IS OVERNIGHT CARE FOR?

  • You're in the newborn or early infant stage and could use more uninterrupted rest.

  • Your baby is waking frequently throughout the night and you're feeling exhausted.

  • You'd like support with nighttime feedings, soothing, and settling

  • You're returning to work and want additional nighttime support.

  • You want experienced, responsive care that honors your parenting choices and the unique needs of your baby.

  • You're simply in a season where having someone you trust care for your baby overnight would make a meaningful difference.

YOU DESERVE REST, TOO

Those early months with a new baby can be beautiful, exhausing, tender and completely life-changing.

But you don't have to do every night alone.

My overnight care is an opportunity to allow yourself the space to truly rest while knowing your baby is being lovingly cared for.

You deserve support.

You deserve rest.

You deserve to wake up feeling a little more like yourself.
